Tilda Åsberg

Tilda Åsberg, originally from Sweden, is currently based in Arnhem, the Netherlands, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in contemporary dance at ArtEZ University of the Arts.  During her studies, she has had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers including Anouk van Dijk, Julio César Iglesias Ungo, and Caroline Finn.

 

Prior to her studies at ArtEZ, she received training in various styles including contemporary dance, ballet, and jazz. Tilda has collaborated with choreographers such as Julia Ehrstrand and Zala Pezdir in various projects.

As much as she is a performer, she is also an observer, finding immense joy in truly seeing the world around her. This ongoing curiosity and attentiveness fuel her creativity, revealing deeper meanings and possibilities in every movement and interaction. It gives her an open mind, whether she is interpreting the works of others or creating her own. 

 

In addition to her dance training, she has developed her own creative practice as a maker, creating and performing original solos and duets in places including Skapa Dans, Theater aan de Rijn and Museum Arnhem.  In 2025, she presented her duet Trångt, which she co-created and performed, at the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition (RIDCC).
